The Because of Them We Can® collegiate cardigan provides a nod to some of the vintage cardigans adorned by our elders and ancestors when they were younger. The garment features a mix of embroidery and chenille to punctuate the Because of Them We Can message. Everyone has someone, known or unknown, whose hard work and contributions to this world made their life better, their dreams possible and their goals attainable. This garment highlights that truth while spreading it for others to embrace.
The cardigan features a large Because of Them We Can chenille patch on the back and another chenille patch with the letter B on the bottom left. Above and below the letter B are the words "Because of Them" and "We Can" embroidered in cursive. The left shoulder features an embroidered patch with the Because of Them We Can crest. The crest includes the greater than symbol right before the number 28, signifying that our history and impact cannot be relegated to just 28 days.
