Twitter user @lovechvn tweeted a throwback photo of himself as a baby sitting on an elderly woman’s lap, sending users into a frenzy once they realized the woman was legendary trailblazer, Rosa Parks.
The photo, captioned “Lil Chan vs Big Chan,” featured a picture of the Detroit artist as a baby sitting on Parks’ lap alongside a picture of the artist now. He tweeted the photo out to his followers with no context and perhaps no thought as to how Black Twitter would react. The photo went viral with hundreds of users asking Chan if it was Parks. In one reply he shared that Parks was his “big cousin.”
Users were literally shocked, unearthing a bevy of hilarious reactions. A few users even tweeted that they were also related to the civil rights icon, along with personal photos of Parks that had also never been seen. It was one big family reunion!
