When it comes to surprising and interacting with students, its probably safe to say former president and First Lady Obama hold the record for most engagements! On Tuesday, Obama surprised a group of recent high school graduates at the Obama Foundation in Chicago.
The teens are interning with the foundation as a result of the partnership between the Obama Youth Job Corps and Urban Alliance. The group thought they were gathered in a conference room to discuss their internships.
You saw yesterday’s @BarackObama surprise, but what did our interns think?

“Part of the goal of this program is to expose you to what’s possible and also to make sure that you recognize that the community from which you come are going to need you to be active and engaged and focused,” Obama said during his visit.
According to their website, “Urban Alliance is a national youth development nonprofit that provides economically disadvantaged young people with access to the exposure, opportunity, support, and training needed to prepare them for lifelong economic self-sufficiency.”
Majority of the students participating through the Obama Youth Corps partnership are from the South Side of Chicago.
