"She said yes 45 years ago, and I'm still the luckiest man in the world," said Johnny Spencer of his wife Helen.
To celebrate their love, the couple took photos in Quitman, Georgia surrounded by nature and a Ford tractor in the background.
"Had the pleasure of capturing images for my client Dedra White's parents Mr. Johnny and Mrs. Helen Spencer," wrote photographer Erik Revills in a Facebook post. "Two people who made me feel like I was in the midst of my grandparents. I love shooting portraits for the older generation because I get to capture and show the world what real true love looks like through a lens."
We'd have to say, mission accomplished! See for yourself.

Revills added: "I had the best conversation with these two special people and laughs out of this world as we reminisced on how life was back in the day coming up. I cherish the old generation for their wisdom and life experiences."
The photos turned out so great that the Spencers' nephew had to share them on Twitter.
My Aunt and Uncle been married for 45 years. They posted these on Facebook and I just had to share. pic.twitter.com/kTEQKPHuXY

As the shares and retweets came flooding in, so did the comments congratulating the Spencers, who will be celebrating another anniversary in December, on over four decades of marriage. Adding our congratulations to this beautiful representation of Black love.
