At 14, 'Black-ish' star Marsai Martin is the youngest person to executive produce a studio film and the youngest to sign a first-look production deal at Universal. In the process of making history, Martin also launched her very own production company called Genius Productions. She shared a few photos of her new office space and there's only three words to describe it: Black Girl Magic.
The first film that will be developed under Martin's production company will be 'Step Monster,' where Martin plays a teenage girl trying to get use to life with her new stepmother.
When news broke about Martin's historic first-look deal with Universal Pictures, she said, "I am so excited for the magic I'll be able to create and produce with Universal.
And Genius Productions is where all the magic will happen.
