Get ready to feel inspired!
For the last four years, Jesse Sparks has worked as a night custodian at the same high school he counseled students at during the day, and once attended himself, with one goal in mind: to pay his own way through graduate school.
"At first I was embarrassed," Sparks said of his night job. "But it taught me lessons I'm able to pass on to my students like 'sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do to get to where you want to be'."
Sparks received his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in the mail last week and that moment "made it all worth it".
He shared the news on social media and has inspired thousands upon thousands of people in the process.

Congratulations, Jesse! Thank you for setting an incredible example for your students and inspiring us all to never allow any obstacle to deter us from accomplishing our goals.
