The NFT gives you access to a community of over 100,000 women!
Visual artist Jade Purple Brown has created a new NFT collection to empower women in Web3.
Brown is a New-York based visual artist whose work includes everything from illustration and design to creative direction, working with global companies like Sephora, Apple, and Adobe. She is also a founding member of BFF, an open-access community geared towards helping “women and non-binary people get educated, connected, and empowered in web3. The community launched in 2022 with the goal of becoming one of the biggest decentralized brands on the internet, offering 8,444 free airdropped NFT Friendship Bracelets to members during a virtual launch event. Today, the community boasts more than 100,000 members and over 100 founding members, including celebrities like Tyra Banks, Randi Zuckerberg, and Mila Kunis.
Now, BFF has announced their inaugural 10K Profile Picture PFP collection entitled You. The collection features art from Brown that highlights the beauty of women and non-binary people across the globe. Brown’s signature style is present in the vibrant colors and expressions of the figures, bringing attention to body politics by showcasing women in a myriad of sizes and shapes, proudly displaying an array of breasts and nipples. The uniqueness also shines through in subtle details like unibrows, hair colors, and teeth with gaps, a beautiful homage to women everywhere.
“When sketching the concepts for this collection, I kept in mind how unique each of us humans are, inside and out. Success for me is ensuring every woman and non-binary person can find an NFT from this collection that represents their image or personality,” Brown said via statement.
BFF Friendship Bracelet holders received first access, being able to mint their You NFT on April 21. There are over 10,000 pieces in the collection and each NFT has built-in perks within the BFF universe including physical products, premier access, one-on-one opportunities with members founding BFF members, IP benefits, and the opportunity to commercialize your NFT for up to $100,000 in revenue every year.
Truly blown away from all of the love! It seriously makes me so happy that this collection has resonated with so many of YOU! Thank you so much for supporting my art and the whole @MyBFF team! pic.twitter.com/od12hYzYBz

With over 300 million people using cryptocurrency around the globe, men are still twice as likely to invest than women, something BFF co-founders Brit Morin and Jaime Schmidt hope to change. The goal is to disrupt the market by connecting women and non-binary people to a community that seeks to help them build equity and generational wealth in the web3 space while highlighting issues that matter most to them. By partnering with Brown, the community was able to capture the essence of its mission.
“We want BFF to represent and celebrate the people who are helping build web3. We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Jade Purple Brown on this captivating collection. Jade’s electrifying work speaks for itself, and we felt she was the perfect match to represent BFF,” said Morin and Schmidt.
Brown adds: "While the world of NFTs may be new and daunting for some artists, I'm optimistic that it will enable a new type of creative play and economic upside unlike many have ever seen before."
