After his limited edition jerseys sold out within hours of being released, Kaepernick took to social media once more to announce that ALL the proceeds will go to his foundation, writing on Instagram:
"Thank you to each and every one of you that have supported this journey. The Official Limited Edition #IMWITHKAP jersey released today instantly sold out! ALL PROFITS will go to support @yourrightscamp!"
The youth program, founded by Kaepernick soon after he first took a knee during the playing of the national anthem to protest police brutality and racial injustice in 2016, seeks to raise awareness about higher education, self-empowerment, and how to interact with law enforcement. It's a free campaign fully funded by Kaepernick and is inspired by the Black Panther Party's 10-point plan.
