College acceptance letters have been pouring in for Kayla E. Willis, who has now been offered admission to over 30 colleges and universities. While working part-time and taking on a full IB schedule, the West Lake High School student ended her first semester of senior year with all A's and a full-ride scholarship to her dream school of Fisk University.
"I am SO BLESSED to say that I will be going to Fisk University with A FULL RIDE!," Willis tweeted. "Fisk has been my number one (choice) for so many years and I cannot believe I am going to my dream school for free. Thank you everyone for the support so far."

Included in Willis' stack of college acceptances were number of historically Black colleges and universities such as: Spelman College, Dillard University, Howard University, Clark Atlanta University, Bethune- Cookman University, Savannah State University, Florida A&M University, and North Carolina A&T University.
After surpassing her goal of 30 acceptances, Willis, who had all of her application fees waived, officially chose to attend Fisk University in the fall. Her parents marked the moment with their very own signing day.
Congratulations, Kayla! Wishing you a strong finish to your high school career and a great start to college.
