If we had to list all the reasons why grandmothers are the best, we'd probably be here all day. However, one of our top reasons would be the special and selfless things that grandmothers do for their grandchildren. Here's proof. This time last year, a young lady took to twitter to share a photo that showed how a grandmother made a two piece outfit (bow included) out of an old leather coat for her granddaughter.
Her grandma took the leather coat and made it into an outfit for her. Even added a bow. 🔥 pic.twitter.com/fxfb6FUyKU

Turns out, the little girl's grandmother, Antonia Abston of Memphis, Tennessee, has a passion for transforming things such as old clothes and purses, into something completely new. Since the tweet went viral, receiving over 20,000 retweets, Ms. Abston's dream of becoming a custom designer has come true. In a Facebook post thanking the young lady who tweeted the photo, Ms. Abston said:
"I would like to give my sincere gratitude to Mylynda Stubblefield from Chicago for sharing my designs on Twitter. I received over 1.5 million views and the orders haven't stopped."
Ms. Abston, thank you for showing young children, like your granddaughter that it's never too late to live your dream.
