Let the church say amen!

The Black church has been an integral part of life for many Black people filtering into the American cultural zeitgeist, even for those who never touched a pew on Easter Sunday. Twitter user, Eunique Jones Gibson, the founder of Because of Them We Can, posed a question, "Tell me you grew up in a Black church without telling me you grew up in a Black church," and the responses were hilarious.

From mints to stave off hunger to the church mothers' legendary hats, the relatable answers had us laughing.
