Snoop Dogg Launches New Ice Cream Line And Its Headed To Walmart Stores

It will be available in Walmarts nationwide!

Last year, superstar rapper Snoop Dogg announced his arrival into the food industry, launching Broadus Foods in partnership with fellow hip hop artist Master P. Together, the two released a line of Momma Snoop instant oatmeal and grits, pancake mix, and a Snoop branded cereal line by Post which include flavors like Fruity Hoopz. Frosted Drizzlers, and Cinnamon Toasteez. Now Snoop has come back for his latest product offering, a new line of ice cream branded with his Dr. Bombay Bored Ape NFT, Ad Age reports.

Dr. Bombay Ice Cream is named after Snoop’s well-known Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT, which also serves as the face of the brand. It is the first food product from the rapper in partnership with Bosslady Foods, a Snoop Dogg and Happi Co. joint venture. The hip hop pioneer said it was important to him to make his NFT the face of the brand because he wants to promote a lifestyle brand.

“Fans will notice that my sidekick, Dr. Bombay is the name, face, and persona of this brand. That’s because he’s like a son to me and you always want your kids to be more successful than you are, that’s my goal in building this lifestyle brand - starting with ice cream,” Snoop said via statement.

The ice cream comes in pint sized containers boasting seven flavors including Bonus Track Brownie, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream, Iced Out Orange Crea, Rollin’ in the Dough, S’more Vibes, Syrupy Waffle Sundaze and Tropical Sherbet Swizzle. The move comes just as NFT fanfare is declining. According to NFT Price Floor, Bored Ape NFTs are currently $57,000 down from nearly $207,000 when Snoop bought his in December 2021 for a whopping $366,000. The innovativeness of Snoop branding products under the Dr. Bombay NFT is a fresh take on business venture possibilities for investors looking to recoup and extend the life of their crypto assets.

The Cali-based rapper has been diversifying his portfolio in this era of his career, holding a variety of brand deals with Corona, Jack in the Box, Skechers’ and 19 Crimes wines. The new Dr. Bombay Ice Cream is set to be sold in $3,500 Walmarts nationwide, eventually expanding to other retailers including Gopuff, ShopRite, Winn Dixie, and Albertsons/Safeway. His cereal line is also currently available in Walmart and Target stores.

Congratulations Snoop! We can’t wait to get our hands on this!
