Congratulations in order!
Ciara and Russell Wilson just announced that they’re expecting another baby!
The R&B star took to Instagram to share the news with her 24 million followers. She captioned the picturesque photo of her with a growing baby bump simply “Number 3,” tagging her husband Russell Wilson, who apparently captured the pic.
This new bundle makes 3 for the Wilson clan. The two have been married since 2016 and have grown their family and their business. Last fall, the Superbowl winning quarterback and Grammy winning songstress became minority owners of the of the Major League Soccer’s Seattle Sounders team.
At the time, Ciara made it clear that the move, while great for business, was more about her children.
“This is not only a special moment for Russ and I, but for our kids as well. When we walked into the building and our kids were running around with their names on their little jerseys, it meant a lot for so many reasons. It’s an honor to join the Sounders team and have the unique opportunity to represent female ownership within major-league sports. The team has already done some amazing things, but I believe the best is ahead, and we’re excited to be part of that,” she said.
Russell is a huge role model, on and off the field. From the beautiful displays of love for his family and teammates, to his historical wins, he continues to exude Black excellence. He seems to be a great father and husband and he also happens to be the highest paid player in the National Football League.
