November can't get here fast enough!
Marvel has released the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” trailer and fans are already impressed with the stunning imagery, and eager to race to theaters for the revival of the Black Panther.
According to CNN, the trailer was released during Marvel’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con. After the sudden passing of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, fans and producers were left trying to figure out how to carry on without him. Many called for recasting his character T’Challa, while others argued that he could never be replaced.
From the looks of the two-minute trailer, it looks like the studio agreed, because T’Challa is most certainly not forgotten in the highly anticipated sequel. Amid breathtaking scenic captures stands a beautiful mural featuring Boseman in the trailer, bringing even the most stoic moviegoer to tears. At one point, Angela Bassett's character Ramonda, who plays T’Challa’s mother, yells, “My entire family is gone. Have I not given everything?”
Even with the fullness of loss present in the story, there are glimmers of hope. And life awaits as a sneak peek of a new superhero is teased at the end, leaving us all on the edge of our seats.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, hits theaters on November 11th.
