The collection honors Malcolm X's 12 Principles: unity, human rights, self-sacrifice, spirituality, self-determination, education, economic independence, self-defense, anti-racism, cultural pride, restoration and justice.

The site is in partnership with tech company Hingeto, an inventory platform for brands and retail. Hingeto’s co-founder and CEO Leandrew Robinson told Black Enterprise, "Honoring Malcolm X’s legacy via a clothing store is a dream and the most meaningful application of Hingeto’s system to date. We first met one of Malcolm’s daughters alongside Colin Kaepernick in a full-day meeting in New York," he said. "It was clear Malcolm’s principles are as relevant today as ever. We all thought it was imperative to represent his message and today's human rights movement as a brand that people can outfit themselves in daily."

Malcolm X was one of the most influential Black leaders of the 20th Century who had a huge impact on the Black rights movement. As a human rights activist and a naturally gifted and inspirational orator, he urged Black people to fight racism "by any means necessary." His teachings of self -love, confidence, and racial pride continue to inspire the world today.
