Keke Palmer Is Coming to Daytime TV

Keke Palmer is out here living her best life!

The 25 year old actress is set to ink a major deal to become a co-host of ABC’s Strahan and Sara. Palmer had a recurring guest host spot alongside hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines, and she meshed so well with them and the audience that the network decided to make her an offer, PageSix reports.

“She’s got tons of energy, she’s fun and super spontaneous,” a source close to the deal told Deadline. “You can see everyone is having a blast.” The show is a spin-off of Good Morning America and was originally named GMA Day before rebranding as Strahan and Sara. Execs at ABC hope to attract a younger audience by bringing on Palmer as a co host.

As a guest host, Palmer had already tackled a number of issues. An in depth interview with Disney channel actress Bella Thorne, detailing her complicated relationship with her mother, made headlines just a week ago.

The deal is set to be finalized soon. Palmer made history a couple of years ago as the youngest talk show host ever, when she debuted her show, Just Keke, on BET. She is also set to star in the upcoming movie Hustlers alongside Jennifer Lopez and she released a new single last week.
