In addition to leaving fans speechless with their amazing performances during their OTR II tour, Jay-Z and Beyoncé also left a lasting impact on a few young fans who are gearing up for college.
During their last tour stop in Seattle, Washington, the power couple awarded Khairi Perry, a homeless teen, with $100,000 in scholarship money.
"It's mind boggling," Perry, who has been living in motels and shelters with his family for the last four years, told The News Tribune. "All my focus is on graduating school and getting into college and pursuing my dream."
The 17-year-old teen currently has a 3.5 grade point average and hopes to attend the University of Oregon where he plans to major in chemical engineering or computer science.

"I'm so grateful. I feel so empowered,” The News Tribune reports Perry saying on video after being surprised with his scholarship. "I'll be able to go to college. Any college I want."
In partnership with the boys and girls club, the scholarship was presented to the 17-year-old teen at the concert on behalf of Beyoncé's foundation, BeyGood, and Jay-Z’s organization, Shawn Carter Foundation. Perry is one of 11 high school seniors who were given $100,000 scholarship money from the music duo.
This also isn’t the first time that Jay-Z and Beyoncé have given back to young scholars. After dropping her hit "Lemonade" album, Beyonce announced her Formation Scholarship where she gave money to female college students, reports Essence. Then, after her Coachella performance earlier this year, the award-winning singer and performer gave a $100,000 scholarship to four HBCU students. On the same note, Jay-Z has also been giving out scholarship money for years through his Shawn Carter Foundation.
