Here Are The Black Nominees For The 73rd Annual Emmy Awards

We're rooting for everybody Black!

The 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards have plenty of Black excellence going around, with critically acclaimed series like "I May Destroy You," "Lovecraft Country," and "Pose" bringing in several nominations. Tuesday morning's nominations were presented by "This Is Us" actor Ron Cephas Jones and his daughter, actress Jasmine Cephas Jones. The duo made history last year when they became the first father and daughter to win performance Emmy Awards in the same year. This 73rd Annual Emmy Awards will be hosted by Cedric The Entertainer and broadcast in a live telecast, which is a departure from last year's virtual event due to the pandemic. The ceremony will be on Sept. 19 on CBS and also available on the Paramount+ streaming service.
