Fan Creates Unofficial Celebration of Life Program In Honor of Kobe Bryant

Maryland based graphic designer, Monica Stanley, created an unofficial Celebration of Life Program to celebrate Kobe Bryant and it is a beautiful representation fit for a legend.

Stanley is specializes in unique funeral programs and though difficult to process, wanted to do something to honor Kobe Bryant's life the best way she knew how. Stanley spoke to Because of Them We Can exclusively about her work.

"This may seem crazy to some but I love doing funeral programs. It's my first love.  To me, it is not just a program, it a documented keepsake, presenting the many ways one chose to spend their breath on this earth.  Every life story from beginning to end, is different.  TI should be creatively cherished as such.  I put love into every page, every color and every picture of the design!  It’s not just a program to me!!  It’s a life presentation.  I know it is a tough job, but someone has to do it.  I choose to do it in Excellence," she said.

Stanley plans to create one to celebrate all of the victims who perished in the helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, including Bryant's 13-year-old daughter, Gianna "Gigi" Bryant.

She took to her instagram account saying, "Kobe this one is for you!"
