Entertainment Weekly just released not 1, not 2, not 3, but 20 new images from Marvel's "Black Panther" movie!
If you saw the trailer, you're probably just as excited as we are to see "Black Panther" hit the big screen on February 16, 2018. From Ryan Coogler becoming Marvel Studios' first Black director with the film, to the all- star cast, to the film making its Marvel Cinematic Universe debut during Black History Month, "Black Panther" is already taking its rightful place in movie history.
The incredible cast includes: Chadwick Boseman as the main character T’Challa (Black Panther), Angela Bassett as T'Challa's mother Ramonda, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger (the super villain), Danai Gurira as Okoye (the leader of an all-woman warrior honor guard called the Dora Milaje), and Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia (a prominent member of the Dora Milaje). Letitia Wright plays T’Challa’s sister Shuri, Daniel Kaluuya is T’Challa’s best friend, W’Kabi, and Forest Whitaker takes on the role of Zuri (a priest and advisor to king of Wakanda).
The magazine featured the new "Black Panther" images in its annual Comic-Con issue; Micheal B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong'o grace the cover.
