thank you Mr.Arnault for believing in this little girl from the left side of an island, and for giving me the opportunity to grow with you at @LVMH https://t.co/6ToY8MkDQB pic.twitter.com/Q9eF35576T
Some of the brands LVMH owns includes Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, and Louis Vuitton. The fashion house also helped bring Rihanna’s wildly successful and disruptive Fenty Beauty to the market. The brand was launched in 2017 and is sold in 17 countries across the globe.
In a statement on the company’s website, LVMH’s CEO and Chairman Bernard Arnault shared how things developed.
“Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH. To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the Group resources. I am proud that LVMH is leading this venture and wish it will be a great success.”
This is the first original brand launch for LVMH from scratch since 1987.
