Music legend Quincy Jones is still making history at 85 years old!

On top of being the first African American vice president of a major record label and the first African American to be the musical director/conductor of the Academy Awards ceremony, Jones is now the first composer to be immortalized at Hollywood's landmark TCL Chinese Theatre.

"I was so addicted at 15 years old, I can’t tell you," Jones said of his love for films during his hand and foot imprint ceremony on Tuesday. "I used to sit in the theater and think about composing music for these films. And I was absolutely addicted. I could never have imagined that those dreams would lead me to here, to this moment, and to be honest, it is a little bit overwhelming."

Over the course of his 70-year career, Jones has earned 27 Grammy Awards, scored 51 movies and TV shows, written over 1,000 original compositions, and produced one of the best-selling albums and singles of all time (Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and "We Are the World" respectively).

Congratulations, Mr. Jones! Your body of work continues to be a great inspiration to us all.
