14-year-old Carson Huey-You just went from Texas Christian University's youngest student to its youngest graduate.
Over the weekend, Carson walked across the stage at the Fort Worth college to receive his bachelor's degree in physics and officially became the youngest person to graduate from Texas Christian University (TCU).

The child prodigy, who also minored in math and Chinese (by the way, he speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently) was homeschooled until the age of 5, when his mother discovered that he was learning at an eighth-grade level. By age 10, Carson graduated from high school and at 11, started his collegiate journey at Texas Christian University.
Throughout his college career, Carson learned how to handle difficult classes and overcome obstacles, such as poor test scores. He advises other 14-year-olds with big dreams: "Try to stay focused on what you are doing. Even if it seems really, really challenging and hard to get through, stay with it."
Carson blazed a trail for his 11-year-old brother Cannan, who graduated from high school on Friday and will be following in his big brother's footsteps by starting his college career at TCU this fall.
What's next for Carson? He's returning to TCU in the fall to start graduate school and in the future, plans to pursue his Ph.D. and conduct research.
Congratulations Carson and Cannan! You both are an inspiration to us all!
